A rebuilt options-and-pricing configurator, and a design cleanup, for a US builder of professional-grade RIBs.

RIBCRAFT builds mission-specific rigid inflatable boats in Marblehead, Massachusetts, for military, first-responder, support and recreational use. The site had to serve four very different buyers, and the tool that priced a build had grown past what it was originally written for.
A RIBCRAFT is specified, not picked off a shelf. Seating, tops and arches, electronics and accessories all change the price, and the old configurator could not keep a running total honest while a buyer moved through them.
A rebuilt option engine with a live total that updates as choices are made — leaning-post and bench seating, antenna arches and T-tops, courtesy lighting, windscreens, rod holders and accessories — each option carrying its own photography so a buyer can see what they are adding. Around it, the site was reorganised by segment, so a police department and a dive operator each land on their own path.
